Community genetics

A special issue of Philosophical Transaction of the Royal Society B Biological Sciences on community genetics has just been released. It includes a review by J. Ferrari and F. Vavre (LBBE) on how insect symbionts constitute appropriate models in the field of community genetics. First, they affect interactions between their hosts and other species. Second, they themselves constitute communities with special characteristics.
