Members of LBBE are involved in PHAG-ONE, a research project recently selected and supported by ANR within its national program on resistance to antibiotics ("Antibiorésistance: comprendre, innover, agir")
This 6-year project directed by Pr Frédéric Laurent (University Hospitals of Lyon and International Center on Infectious Diseases Research) gathers several research teams in France.
The aims of this project are to study, produce (academic production within the University Hospitals of Lyon) and evaluate bacteriophages to be used for the treatment of infections caused by multidrug resistant bacteria.
LBBE will perform the pharmacological modelling of experimental data (Pr Sylvain Goutelle, BMSE department, EMET team).
