I am a theoretical ecologist with broad interests at the interface between community ecology, evolution and ecosystem. I am particularily interested in understanding both the drivers and impacts of positive interactions in ecological communities, with a focus on plant and microbial systems. This leads me to develop novel modeling frameworks that combine resource-explicit, trait-based, and structured population approaches.

I apply my work to a variety of ecological systems, such as nitrogen-fixation, plant defenses, cross-feeding microbes and gut microbiomes.
